Michael Che began his comedy career about 2010 by doing open-mic gigs. In 2012 he made his first TV appearances, including on the Late Show with David Letterman. The next year he was hired as a writer on Saturday Night Live, and in 2014 he became a correspondent for The Daily Show, which was hosted by Jon Stewart. That year he became a cohost of SNL’s “Weekend Update.”
